Title:
Dell PC shows boot logo twice whenever Ubuntu boots up.

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
The Dell logo is tied to the BIOS/UEFI. It should only appear when the
system is powering on. However, whenever I turn my PC on, the Dell
logo appears, and then a purple screen appears, but then the machine
returns to the Dell Logo before actually booting up.

This is a problem and it only happens on UEFI, regardless of whether
secure boot is enabled, disabled, PTT is enabled or disabled.

The boot logo needs to only appear once, yet it does it twice whenever
I boot up ubuntu 18.04, 19.10, and even the latest version of 20.04.

  Please address this issue.

  Thank you.
