I have the same request. As I can see both images 20.04.1 and 18.04.5
have the same version of the installer and the installer can even be
autoupdated to a newer version via snap, which sounds great. I poked
around the system and files but it seems that 18.04 is configured
completely different and doesn't detect my autoinstall file which I have
written for 20.04.
