Thanks for pour answer.
It was an attempt to upgrade from Ubuntu studio former LTM to the last one.
As you mentioned the original system is Ubuntu studio, as I feel more
confortable with Gnome I installed it afterwords. So far I've been
following each updates and upgrades as soon as they were suggested.
Honestly I don't understand why the desktop would challenge the core
upgrades.
I'll have to dig it out.
