Hello
It is correct that it happend against installer.
Due to the fact that after regular update of Ubuntu Computer was not able to start/boot, I tried to come up by new installing from live media.
Unfortunately I am not that professional IT expert and guide while
opening the report is not as easy as could be handled by 'normal user'
;o) (me).
I can here provide following information:

Update of Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon was done without problems and Computer able to boot all 3 systems.
Update of Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS failed with 'fatal error' (no precisely described) and computer could not be started/booted anymore.
So I tried to get it working by installing Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS new with
fresh live medium.
Hope that information is helpful
best regards
Michael
