Title:
  test_meta_release_core.TestMetaReleaseCore tests now failing since
  24.04 in development

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Started noticing update-manager failures in jammy since the new distro-info-data upload:
  https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-jammy/jammy/amd64/u/update-manager/20231024_052551_e9cba@/log.gz
  https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/u/update-manager/jammy/amd64

I don't know exactly what the test was checking, but it feels related
to the fact that we have a new LTS and no core24 yet. Might be that
  something needs tweaking here.
