Hello,

I just wanted to put in here that a user tried using mdadm to no success
where dmraid worked[0]. As this is a package that you may need in order
to boot (if fakeraid is supporting your boot drive), I think it's unwise
to simply remove completely. It would feel bad not seeing your system
boot after doing u-r-u.

This of course creates a vicious loop of wanting to support upgrades so
we never remove this package, so we have to create the line somewhere.

Title:
Please remove dmraid from the Ubuntu archive

Status in dmraid package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete
Status in dmraid package in Debian:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
It got dropped from Debian due to being obsolete and dead upstream. An
  alternative seems to be "mdadm".

We're still tracking it in Ubuntu "main" as part of the live-common seed and an Ubiquity Recommends.
The Ubiquity installer is depecrated, though. So we should consider dropping dmraid from main.
