Dependency wise there is nothing that strictly forbids the removal.

$ reverse-depends --build-depends src:dmraid
Reverse-Testsuite-Triggers
==========================
* dracut                        (for dmraid)

And a recommends from ubiquity.

$ reverse-depends src:dmraid
Reverse-Recommends
==================
* ubiquity                      (for dmraid)

Furthermore it is a Foundations package, so I'd like to make sure we
hear their opinion before acting.

Title:
  Remove dmraid from oracular?

Status in dmraid package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in dmraid package in Debian:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  https://bugs.debian.org/1056944

  From Debian bug:
  RoQA; obsolete; dead upstream
  "as discussed in bugs #864423 and #1034188, dmraid is obsolete and shall
  not be shipped in trixie.
  "

  the delta for Ubuntu was related to kpartx-boot, now removed from multipath-tools
  https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/multipath-tools/0.9.9-1ubuntu1

  I uploaded a dmraid without that delta to ease removal of NBS kpartx-
  boot
