GCC-14 was accepted into the noble-proposed. After it builds, the
package will be accessible in a few hours at
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gcc-14/14.2.0-4ubuntu2~24.04 and in
the -proposed repository.

Would you kindly try this updated package for us? Take a look at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/Enablesuggested for instructions on how
to use and enable -proposed. We will use your input to help distribute
this update to other Ubuntu users.


If this package resolves the issue for you, kindly update the bug with a remark that includes the package version you tested, the type of testing that was done on the package, and the tag that was previously set to verification-needed-noble to verification-done-noble. Bug description:
  SRU: backport GCC 14 to 24.04 LTS, prepared in the ubuntu-
  toolchain-r/ppa PPA.  These packages are based on the same versions
  that are used in the oracular release.

  A test rebuild using these packages was done as described in LP:
  #2076024.

  The gcc-14 testsuite run during the build doesn't show regressions.
