I did the analysis of all the changes in the debian folder

- translations files debian/po/*po are changed

- the mdadm configuration file debian/mdadm.config is changed as part of the fix:
  
  Fix chroot detection to avoid displaying the systemd note when mdadm                                                                                                                        
  is getting installed within d-i (Closes: #1091617).

- A small note has been added to debian/mdadm.templates

- The patch debian/patches/debian/0005-readlink-path.patch has been removed
  since it is not needed anymore with usr-merge

- The patch debian/patches/upstream/0001-manpage-remove-bitmap.patch is
cherry-picked from upstream

Nothing of the changes above captures my attention about the delta we
currently have:

- d/*: Mount efivarfs during initramfs boot phase
Add initramfs-tools script to mount efivarfs during initramfs boot phase
(debian/local/initramfs-tools/init-top/00_mount_efivarfs)

- d/* : Ship finalrd hook
 
This delta applies cleanly and the new mdadm version builds fine.
