Title:
Cannot upgrade to latest Ubuntu version

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Based on previous bug report, the issue seems to be that my python
version is higher than the expected version. However, the command to
revert to the original 3.12 doesn't work and I checked that the system
  version is 3.12

How do I upgrade my Ubuntu version? I really rather not install a new
  instance from scratch
