Hi @crosser, it's likely this is caused by the broken rustc upgrade
story from older Ubuntu releases — see LP: #2130706[1].

I'm currently working on a fix, but in the meantime I've found that
reinstalling the rustc package fixes the error.

Bug description:
  There are Debian packages that assume that
  /usr/share/rustc/architecture.mk is available. Could you look into why
  it is no longer included in Ubuntu 24.10's rustc?
