Thank you for your bug report. Could you share a reference to the
mentioned policy?

Also checking for the rdepends of one binary isn't enough if you are
asking for a source removal, could you include checks for the other
binaries Recommends and Build-Depends?

Bug description:
  Per the Ubuntu .NET support policy, Ubuntu LTS releases should only
  contain the latest .NET LTS and the one released the year after the
  Ubuntu LTS release.

  In this case, resolute should only contain .NET 10 LTS (released
  November 2025) and .NET 12 LTS (to be released November 2027).

  Therefore, dotnet8 should be removed from resolute.

  $ reverse-depends -r resolute -b dotnet8
  No reverse dependencies found
