  uutils wc crashed with SIGABRT on logout

Status in rust-coreutils package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Updated to questing where I found rust coreutils to be the default.

  On logout, wc crashed. I got alerted on the next log-in, but checking
  the crash time against the system journal, I can confirm it happened
  on logout.
