Hello Tobias,
Indeed, os-prober (which we rely on to find existing installations)
won't be able to cope with encrypted filesystems.
And while in theory, a user could run `cryptsetup open <dev> <name>`, I
doubt we have the logic in place to do the reverse mapping from <name>
to the mapped filesystem.
Now, if we want to make that possible, I'd suggest we start with LVM
installations *without* encryption. This is probably a good first step
in the right direction.
Thanks,
Olivier

Bug description:
During beta testing I noticed that after installing Ubuntu in an
encrypted lvm setup it won't offer an option to remove the existing
installation and reinstall Ubuntu. Only the option to wipe the entire
disk is offered.
