Hi Thorsten, thanks for the clarification.

So for case #6 we see:
"RuntimeError: dasd partitions do not support flags"
no idea yet what that means

for case #2 we see:

It looks like fdasd noticed that the DASD is active on 12 different LPARs (systems), which seems to be awkward - is this really true ?
If so, there seems to be a pretty high chance that more than one system is accessing it actively and might write, which would likely cause issues, I think.
