Well I might add a second opinion. I don't have the XPS 9345, I have a T14s 64GB OLED fully set up with slbounce and qebspil running on EL2 with KVM in use. Sound is also working nicely enough, haven't tried camera yet. But I have them up on the Thinkbook 16 and the Ideapad 5. For the XPS the same can be done, @alexvinarskis has one running on EL2. https://github.com/alexVinarskis/linux-x1e80100-dell-tributo He also does a lot of the sound / camera / dtb tweaking. 
Nothing of this comes ootb on one installable image, though. The support is there and IMO no longer bleeding edge.
