Yes, it was indeed the first thing I checked:
```
/tmp/mnt/sda/rpi5boot# cat autoboot.txt
[all]
tryboot_a_b=1
```
I thought that was correct but do let me know if I'm missing something.
Thank you for your work on this, the new structure in the boot
partition/directory is much more elegant and easier to work with - even
with these minor teething issues.

Title:
piboot-try netboot looks for tryboot on tftp share and boot loops
Status in flash-kernel package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Ubuntu 25.10 (GNU/Linux 6.17.0-1006-raspi aarch64)
When the system netboots and there is a new firmware to test from an
initrd.img update, the flash-kernel fails with error 'TFTP 1: file
/tmp/mnt/sda/rpi5boot/tryboot.txt not found for 192.168.0.1' and moves
to the next boot choice. If netboot is chosen manually from a boot
menu, it just loops.
The system has not created a tryboot.txt file in that folder. I notice
that it also does not check a subdirectory based on the MAC address
for a config.txt file as opposed to a normal boot.
