Heterogeneous series environments

Hi All,

Having just landed a branch that added an explicit series param to the
environs StartInstance method, I'm now wondering why...

I sort of did the work blindly because it was put in front of me, but
I'm wondering what the situations are that we actually need it?

Do we support environments where we deploy to different series?

What would be the use-cases for this?

Why explicitly pass series rather than just use
env.Config().DefaultSeries() ?

This is me trying to understand my work more.
