adding machine from MAAS throwing error.

when i am adding a machine from MAAS controller. name nova-compute1.maas
juju throwing and error.

ubuntu at juju-phy-master:~$ juju add-machine nova-compute1.maas
failed to create 1 machine
ERROR cannot add a new machine: unknown placement directive:
nova-compute1.maas



i just check the example with juju add-machine --help command and i am
writing correct syntex as per the command. can you guys please guide.
