I tried this and had the same problems as before. I also tried optimised
settings and then reverting back to my own custom settings all with the same result.

I set this running and after 2 hours everything seemed fine, I'll leave it
running the full time required tomorrow.

 I'll try this tomorrow 
>Try booting an Ubuntu 5.04 live CD and see if it works OK.
4.10 live cd still doesn't work, I don't have a 5.04 live cd yet - I'll get one
overnight.

Sorry for not doing everything, but I'm in the middle of uni deadlines at the mo
:(, so I'm having to use windows :(
