Summary: NVIDIA GLX driver isn't happy with kernel
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux-restricted-modules
        AssignedTo: daniel.stone at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: dj at david-web.co.uk
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

I'm running Kubuntu Hoary on AMD64 and the nVidia kernel module complains about
the kernel version when loaded:

NVRM: loading NVIDIA Linux x86_64 NVIDIA Kernel Module 1.0-7174 Tue Mar 22
06:45:40 PST 2005
NVRM: WARNING: Your Linux kernel has problems in its implementation of
NVRM: the change_page_attr kernel interface. The NVIDIA kernel
NVRM: module will attempt to work around these problems, but
NVRM: system stability may be affected. It is recommended that
NVRM: you update to a 2.6.11 or newer kernel.

I haven't noticed any stability problems, but I'd feel better if it was fixed. I
know there is a 2.6.11 kernel in Universe, but there isn't a
linux-restricted-modules for it.
