The current Ubuntu-breezy is installed, and wake-from-sleep fails in exactly the manner described
above. Here is /proc/cpuinfo:

bogomips	: 797.35
machine : PowerBook4,1
motherboard	: PowerBook4,1 MacRISC2 MacRISC Power Macintosh
detected as	: 257 (iBook 2)
pmac flags	: 0000001b

Stopping the dbus service does allow it to wake up. There was some question about how this interacts
with the kernel, and I believe I have found the underlying kernel-level problem. With the dbus
service (including hal) still running, removing the ide-cd module also allows it to wake up. The
problem appears to be that the module tries to force DMA on too early. The real solution is to
rewrite the resume code in the ide-cd module.
