[Bug 49796] Resume from suspend fails on Dell Latitude D610

To reproduce:

1. Boot using Dapper's kernel (2.6.15-23-386)
2. Suspend the machine (using Fn+Esc, "Quit..." menu, or any other means)
3. Resume the machine (close and reopen the lid, or press the power button)

On resume, the machine apparently wakes up (power light goes solid,
other lights turn back on), but the screen remains blank and machine is
unresponsive (including to the network).
