[Bug 68993] Resume from suspend to RAM does not work with sata disk

Public bug reported:
After removing an ide data disk from the system, leaving only a sata-
disk, resume from suspend stopped working.
Here is the output I get when resuming (I had to enable "Repost video on
S3 resume" in the BIOS to be able to see this):

I'm on Edgy with a 2.6.17 kernel and the system is updated with all the
latest packages.
My system is an asus barebone:
