[Bug 177384] 6.06.2 installation in vmware resulted in kernel-oops in ext3_forget

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.15

I was installing the i386 6.06.2 daily build from 20071207.2 in VMware
Workstation and the install crashed at 3% during "Checking component
main on file:///cdrom". Switching to a tty I was presented with a kernel
oops report. I've taken screenshots of the oops.
