Could this be a consequence of using the new Fusion MPT driver from
l-b-m? The new kernel does not change any file system driver.

FWIW, I also tested 6.06.2 in vmware with ext3 without any problems.
Might be a race condition which has always been there, or has become
much more likely now. Brian, do you get this in a second attempt, too?
