Okay seems like the default Kerneldriver/stack is the Problem.
Just try Mainline 2.6.32 kernel, that solved every Wlan Problem i had with every hardware.

-> no freezing, wpa2 works fully (adhoc too)
-> hostapd ap works like a charm (before: crashes, no reconnects, disconnects etc..)
