Hi, 
I've installed Ubuntu 9.10 from scratch on new partition one week ago and everything worked well for 5 days. 
After that, I started to get the "hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 3" loop and the system stopped recognizing my Iomega External HD (which worked perfectly before !!)

'guess nobody has any clue , right?
