Binary package hint: gnome-ppp
I'm using a serial dialup modem. US Robotics Sportster X2 56k faxmodem. NOT the laptops internal Winmodem.
The serial modem works properly, using kernel 2.6.28-16. It is not detected when using 2.6.31-14 or 2.6.31-15.
This first occured after I upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10.
