[Bug 303673] Re: ACER Vertiton M646 kernel panic re. APIC on live boot

I downloaded the latest daily build, and tried to boot it.  When I boot
with no parameters, within a second or two all activity stops, and all I
have is a blinking cursor in the top left corner of the screen.  Trying
again with noapic, I can boot.  My experience (across multiple releases
of Ubuntu now) is that without apic, I get intermittent errors.
