      Not at all, you can test using the latest daily live image. It will have no impact on your machine. Latest builds are located here: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/

Hi Jeremy,

After recording this gave up on jaunty and returned to hardy heron.
Are you saying I should deploy the latest upstream kernel on hardy to test the fix?
