I am not sure if this is related, but I have similar behaviour on my Mivvy G310 netbook.
When pressing Fn+volume up/down/mute or webcam key, I get repeated key events and can no longer use my keyboard.
Mouse keeps working and when switching from terminal i can go on.

If this is related and anyone needs more info, please let me know.
