Public bug reported:
Hi Guys,
i have installed the Ubuntu Version 10.04 LTS which runs the 2.6.32-22-generic Kernel.
So if i boot the System the fakeraid 1 is detected, maybe wrong, but can't be activated.
If i try to activate with dmraid -ay manualy:
RAID set "jmicron_name " already active
RAID set "jmicron_name 1" was not activated
RAID set "jmicron_name 2" was not activated
RAID set "jmicron_name 3" was not activated
i try an dmraid -an and dmraid -ay also same problem.
in Dmesg i found following related logs:
device-mapper: table: 251:1: linear: Invalid argument count ....
(repeated some time)
dmraid ls :
jmicron_name (251,0)
dmraid table:
jmicron_name : 0 1953497088 mirror core 2 131072 nosync 2 8:0 0 8:1 0 1 handle_errors
ls /dev/mapper:
contol
jmicron_name
jmicron_name___________
If i run Ubuntu 09.04 all fine.
