I have the exact same problem on my Packard Bell Easynote RS66-U-320NC
after upgrading from 10.04 to 10.10.

According to below thread in the forum, so does a lot of other people
with various systems including stationaries.

Hope to see a fix soon, it is incredibly annoying to do a coldboot all
the time... :O)
