It's actually more minor than that.
My point is just that if the ratings are used as part of an algorithm to
determine scores (1 == less likely ; 5 == more likely), and if also 1 is
unlikely to be chosen due to "awful" songs probably not being kept in
the owner's collection, then the algorithm is off to a minor extent
because the lowest practical score will be 2, thus throwing off the
weighting of the star ratings. So by a simple change in terminology,
which encourages 1-star ratings to be used more often, then the results
of the algorithm should be improved. Hopefully that makes sense.
