Being more specific is difficult. I have this problem for some time now. This morning, nothing I added or removed in existing pages was saved, even after keeping kjots open for more than 5 minutes.
If I try to reproduce the problem now, it no longer works. I added a new page somewhere and added some text to it. I also typed more in the page that troubled me this morning. Now everything was saved.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I really can't say when kjots will save and when not. The only thing I can see is that if kjots doesn't want to save, it will also not save if I close and reopen the program.
At this moment my workaround is typing the stuff in kate, and saving it as a text file. From time to time I copy the text to Kjots and check if it is saved. This can take a day or two.

If you have any ideas about how to debug this, I'll gladly help.
