Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: plasma-widget-network-manager
1.)
Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04
2.)
plasma-widget-network-manager:
Installiert: 0.0+svn930811-0ubuntu2
Kandidat: 0.0+svn930811-0ubuntu2
Versions-Tabelle:
*** 0.0+svn930811-0ubuntu2 0
500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
3.) After suspend rejoin any known wireless/wired connection (preferably
the last one used)
4.)
After suspend to RAM the icon of plasma-widget-network-manager (9.04 beta) disappears. You can still click where it was before to access the menu. But only the vpn section shows up. After logging out and starting a gnome session the networkmanager applet there is telling that network is -deactivated-.
You can activate it via right click and "activate". I think this important option is missing on the KDE side.
Either way I expect the network to get activated automatically if it was activated before suspend to RAM and to rejoin to the last network used or any network available.
** Affects: plasma-widget-network-manager (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
