Hello again,

the problem is due to duplicate Qt libraries. This you can see  for
example by typing

ldd /usr/bin/qtconfig-qt4

In my case it was Trolltech. Anyhow I followed the instructions in #3 of

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=556058

to remove the conflict with the duplicate library. Now my Qt-
applications run.
