[Bug 1437802] [NEW] menubar is missing in muon and cannot be recovered

Public bug reported:
Recently noticed that muon package manager has lost its menubar. Cannot recover it. This means I cannot install software; see attachment.
Searched $HOME/.kde for *muon* and deleted related config files: no success with that.
This is Kubuntu 15.04 as at 29 Mar 2015 with all updates.
