Thanks, Sam, for the confirmation. Same for me here: last week's KUbuntu
Vivid still had the menu bar for muon but it vanished after the update I
made yesterday.

Could you please upvote this bug by clicking "This bug also affects me."
right below the headline?

For other issues that you might as well upvote please see my other
reports. Thank you.

In particular, I bought a new computer to avoid NVIDIA which I never got
to a reasonable working state in Vivid (Nightlies). Some bug reports
exist on that.
