Firefox and Mplayer plugin on 6.10

This is curious, I have upgraded in 6.10 two machines one installed with
the mozilla-mplayer on Firefox and after upgrade the plugin stay
installed and running, the other one *without* mozilla-mplayer installed
and on this machine there is no way to install it !?
