Win4lin Pro installation problems

Hi I am new to Kubuntu and although I have used Mandriva linux for a
couple of years I am by no means a Linux guru so I am probably overlooking
something simple.
I have been trying to install win4lin pro on a fresh installation of
Kubuntu dapper 64 bit. It all goes well until it is time to load the windows
cd. At that point I get a error message that reads "You do nor have
permission to read from the CDROM device you selected. Please correct this
permission problem or choose a different CDROM device to read from."

I have checked the permissions and they seem to be OK. They are set so
owner, group and others can view content. I have also tried several paths.
/dev/hdc, /cdrom/ and others but I always get the same message.

I have to run several windows applications for drafting and schematic
drawing or I would not really care.
Can anyone here point me in the right direction.

    Thanks in advance

      Marc
