kdocker-like application?

In Mandriva 2006, there was an application called kdocker whose
functionality I really miss. Is there anything packaged for Kubuntu
that has the same, or similar, behaviour?

kdocker allows any app to be minimized to the systray instead of the
ordinary taskbar. I had kdocker configured so that hitting win-Z
invoked kdocker on the current window -- in other words, hitting win-Z
on any open window would send that app to the systray. This was
tremendously helpful in particular with Sunbird, which one really
needs to have running all the time and accessible from any virtual
desktop.
