kubuntu 7.10 is really suks to install !

I've tried two upgrades with Kubuntu on a laptop: Badger to Dapper and 
Feisty to Gutsy; both have been poor, and both have required reinstalls.

I have decided to stick with the LTS versions in future where a 
reinstall over such a period isn't so painful.

The reinstalls work fine, but the upgrades have been poor.

I apologise for the folk on this thread that have accused you of being a 
troll. It's really okay to recount bad experiences with Kubuntu,; it's 
only by acknowledging them that things will improve.
