This a problem that other Linux distro's also have.
I have set my resolution to 1024x768 and selected CRT1024x768 in
settings or if you have a lcd LCD1024x768.
Go into your /etc/X11/xorg and edit w/kedit. I got ride of the extra
B.S. ubuntu has in their xorg.conf and fixed my settings as you see
below and I have no problems. in Kubuntu 7.10 or Fedora 8
I did shutoff Kudsu in Fedora and that help also, I don't what Ubuntu
uses in place of Kudsu.
