Speeding up KDE -- More Help Needed

After years of trolling nobody of the gentoo fanboi crowd hes yet presented me 
any number of any benchmarks of two gentoo installs on the same machine, on 
ewith march=i486 ond with 3 lines of insane USE flags and 100 fancy gcc 
options.

Plus: no matter *how* fast it gets: it will never, never, never make up for 
taking *hundreds* of hours for compiling X, KDE and Bob knows what else.
