cairo expects to find libgcc_s.so.1 in /usr/lib/vmware/lib/
but your version of vmware installer for was not designed to work with your
version/installation of the cairo stuff (I don't even know what cairo or
vmware do, and I'm too lazy or tired now to learn about that now, furthermore
I don't have hardy, nor a 64 bit, so take my advice for what it is)

Probably you will find libgcc_s.so.1 elsewhere on your drive and be able to do
a symlink to libgcc_s.so.1 from /usr/lib/vmware/lib/

Use same technique as above.
The rest is only repetitions of the same merror messages.

Incest is alright if you keep it in the family.
