I am unable to vouch for this as I am no longer in Jaunty, (made mistake 
of upgrading to kde4.3 beta, but Karmic seems to handle all this preety 
well).  If the link doesn't help, either you have to reinstall Jaunty or 
try out Karmic first. Personally, find kde 4.3 beta (now it's beta2) 
better than kde4.3 (beta1) on Jaunty. But, I will not recommend newer 
users to use ppa, experimental or beta on kde or kubuntu.
