I have already done that and it did not change anything. It is currently set
as follows:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
address 127.0.0.1
netmask 255.0.0.0
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
I hope it is correct. Nonetheless it still gives the Unknown Host.
