Hi all,
I'm trying to install a 64 bit virtual machine on a 64 bit kubuntu
system (jaunty 64 bit version).

I tried karmic 64 bit alpha2 and jaunty 64bit

At the first try I received the error:
MP - BIOS bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC

So I tried the safe mode: graphic safe mode, noacpi, noapic, ....

When I start the installation, karmic locks and show a black screen,
jaunty locks and show the the splash screen

How can I resolve this problem?

Thanks
    Mirto

P.S. I'm using a machine with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor P7350
(WITHOUT KVM SUPPORT)

P.P.S. I need a virtual machine with USB support - any suggestion?
